I generally send a note with a brief description of the beer and the code on the cap. Nothing too detailed. If it has unusual ingredients, I might describe how I used them.

And dont forget to pack your gifts with care. Like using your old towels and rags, so that the homebrewer your send your package to can use them for wiping up spills or cleaning the bottom of their kegarator. Thanks again AdamK for last year. 4 great homebrew and a towel my wife cant complain that I'm ruining.

I'd be a little careful with that towel, knowing AdamK. Sure it softens up when you get it wet, but still...
